computer & internet
WP stands for a word press .the advantage of the wp is as a fallows :- • It’s free • Fast to setup • Easy to learn • Lots of plugins and templates available so you don’t need to be a PHP guru or designer to have a nice looking site with lots of features. Disadvantages is :- • Database queries may be very heavy • It isn’t a full CMS product – which is fine for a lot of sites – but if your site is moving a long way away from something based around a blog then you might find it starts to creak a bit Wordpress is fine, there are some good templates available, some good widgets as well, but Joomla is far superior if you want to expand the functionality of your site.
Joomla has thousands of possible templates for purchase, which you can then customize, and the extensions (the equivalent of WP's widget) are endless.
The back end is easy to use for whomever is maintaining the site, there are some excellent SEO tools, Twitter tools, news and calendar tools, etc. It's really a very robust but much easier to customize system than WP in the long run. Yes thats exactly what proves my point more. Those who cannot get past it give such reasoning. I have more than you but the point is not how many of them we have. The point is how do you think your site is more useful to Google users than currently in. and you don't need to update your website regularly to do well. I know websites that were not changed for years and years and you can't beat em, no matter how much fresh content you will add!
