Post Re: Web Advertising
Hi

Before publishing your website and submitting your site to a search engine it is very important to have some key components ready on your own website.

1. Have your site ready. This may go without saying but I have come across many websites which have broken links or pages that say "under construction" which leaves a poor impression.

2. Have your meta tags ready. Meta tags are used by the search engine to categorize and file your site as well as describe it. There are two main meta tags; description and keywords.

1. The description tag is a short paragraph describing what the searcher will find when they click on the link to your website. This is often displayed below the link and if it is not explicitly defined the search engine will take the first 25 or so words on the page regardless of what they are. This can result in a misrepresentation of your organization.
2. The second meta tag is the keywords tag. This is a collection of every keyword that you can think of which describes any aspect of your organization. Include geographic words, philosophical words, American, English or other versions and even misspelled versions if you are using commonly misspelled words.
3. The content in the <title> tag becomes the label or "clickable area" when your site comes up in a search engine.

Thanks
Have a nice time ahead

Post Re: Web Advertising
Hi friends,

Online advertising encompasses a range of types of advertising, some of which are deployed ethically and some are not. Some websites use large numbers of advertisements, including flashing banners that distract the user, and some have misleading images designed to look like error messages from the operating system, rather than advertisements. Websites that unethically use online advertising for revenue frequently do not monitor what advertisements on their website link to, allowing advertisements to lead to sites with malicious software or adult material.

Thanks

I would suggest you to try PPC instead of banners, PPC is at its best these days and I have seen the traffic rise and then rise in sale of my customers.
PPC Advertising is a dynamic marketplace, the higher you bid, the higher your advertisement will be displayed in the list. As the name suggests, you don't need to pay for listing, but only for real clicks. It allows you to get maximum exposure, while you control the amount you want to spend on your marketing campaign. There are no risks and you can clearly track the effectiveness of your PPC Advertising campaign.

There’s a lot to think about before starting a web advertising campaign, for example what strategies are you going to use. For example there is PPC and affiliate marketing, and how much money are you going to send. You need to think about profit versus customer conversion.
