Post DisplayPort Adapter?
DisplayPort is the name of one of the standards for digital display interfaces. It was established by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) in 2006, and updated in 2007 and 2009. Because DisplayPort connectors on computers must be linked to monitors that have other connectors, such as DVI or VGA or HDMI, DisplayPort adapter cables are required. In addition, in 2008, AppleĀ® created a different implementation of DisplayPort technology called the Mini DisplayPort, which also requires a DisplayPort adapter for use when connected to any monitor. A different type of DisplayPort adapter is made to fit each of these purposes.

Hello

Our Mini Displayport to Displayport adapter is the perfect solution for hooking up your new generation Macbook, Macbook Pro, or Macbook Air to a monitor or HDTV that has Displayport input. This is a great solution because they are the same technology, as such you have no compromise as far as resolution or signal quality. Another common application of this cable is for the new 27" iMac which has mini displayport input. This cable can be used to connecto a Displayport source to the 27" iMac mini displayport input and use the iMac as a display.
Cable is compatible with Apple mini-displayport products and will be in Apples typical gloss white color to match your Apple products.
DisplayPort is a new technology that is looking to replace DVI and VGA as a video connection. The DisplayPort cable is notably smaller than both of these technologies and includes a snap-lock connector to make connecting and disconnecting simple. Display Port will most likely become the new standard for high end video equipment and Circuit Assembly has taken the initiative to be one of the first to manufacture this new technology for its customers. It is capable of carrying a high bandwidth digital audio and video signal.

Hello

The Mini Display Port is a miniaturized version of the Display Port digital display interface. Announced by Apple in the fourth quarter of 2008, today it is used in all new Macs.Shortly after announcing the Mini Display Port, Apple announced that it would license the connector technology with no fee. Apple reserves the right to void the license if the licensee does "commence an action for patent infringement against . Every Mac with a Mini Display Port allows you to connect an external display or projector using an adapter. You can use an external display as your main workspace or to extend your desktop, or you can work in mirrored mode with a projector so you can view what your audience sees. Use the Mini Display Port to DVI Adapter to connect an advanced digital monitor, such as the 20- or 23-inch Apple Cinema Display, that includes a DVI connector. Review the documentation or check with the manufacturer of your monitor to make sure you're choosing the right adapter.Compatible only with Mac computers with Mini Display Port.

Have a nice day !
