I was born in the 50s when the trend was to put shoes on your baby from the moment of birth. Maybe that is why so many of us suffer from bunions and falling arches. I have no idea if that is the case, but while searching for shoes for my two little grandsons (Mitch and Gabe, pictured here), I noticed that Stride Rites and Buster Browns are pretty much non-existent in the baby shoe department in every store I explored.
