Why most people fail in business?
Starting your own business can yield amazing rewards but at the same time its a pretty big risk. I was recently asked in the Q&A why people fail at starting their own businesses. I came up with several reasons and wanted to expand more on this.
Fear – Its balls out to quit your day job and start your own company. There are no guarantees. It took me 4 years to take the plunge and a huge push from my wife to do it and I never quit my day jobs… I got canned.
Excuses – This is the #1 reason people do not ever get started. People will always think of reasons not to be successful.
Stress – Owning your own business is stressful. Especially when you grow and have employees. I am very hands on and always want to do all the work myself… but its just not possible. Plus I have employees that are just better at many things then I am and I need to let them do the job. Then you have the financials which add a shit ton of stress.
Comfort – Lets be honest. Most 9-5 jobs are pretty comfy. You get up at 8am grab your coffee in to work by 8:30 to gossip for a bit. Grab your TPS reports and highlighter and start to go through them. You finish the first batch about 11:30 time to goto lunch with the gang. After a good social lunch you head back to the office to grab the rest of your TPS reports until 4:45 when you start to shut it down and head out. Home by 5:30. Pretty nice. When you own your own company your on 24/7 or atleast thats how it is with me. Server issues at 3am.. Im up and working on it or calling dillsmack if I cant figure it out quick. I miss the comfort of just having a easy 9-5 gig. But not that much =P
The Dip – Everyone loves the initial dreams of owning your own business but soon after the fun thoughts leave the real work begins. Powering through that dip is a mother. We go through it every time we start a new website. Being able to power through the dip until you reach a tipping point is probably the biggest reasons companies fail.
Motivation – Some people are just motivated more then others. When I first started my own company my main motivation for kicking ass was that I was terrified to go back to a corporate 9-5 job. That was 5 years ago. Now my motivation is more to keep kicking ass so my employees/partners never have to work for a corporate 9-5 job ever again.

Re: Why most people fail in business?
I'm sure most of you know, exactly the words I'm referring to, what is it? Residual income. That's it in a nutshell, if you succeed to gain the prosperity you're looking for within your Internet online marketing business. You need to create residual income with that being said, your business knows no bounds. Simply put, there is no limit to where you want your business goals to be obtained.
One of the biggest reasons that I've seen people fail at Internet businesses. Is that they think that all they need to do is throw up a fabulous website that sparkles and shines,an the financial income will just start flowing straight to their bank accounts. Let's face it my friends, it's not that easy. If it was, everyone would be doing it. Right! It doesn't take a brilliant mind to know, that would be thinking with a lottery mentality.
Like the old saying goes "try your luck, step right up and press your luck." Sure'you can give it a try. Who knows, you might be one of the lucky ones, but chances are totally slim to none and you will surely end up right back to square one.
Another major factor that Intel's with online business failures is ignorance. People who started marketing business without a clue of either whether they really want to sell/promote people know what companies that want to be a some good to them and turn out to be a profitable opportunity.
Nor do they know the dangers and what to look out for, and what roadblocks they face ahead. Not to mention some of these companies have steep learning curves, it's not as easy to learn how to sell the product to their prospects with the right education on the product that their marketing.

Re: Why most people fail in business?
The payoff for setting goals and making plans is being able to choose the kind of life you want to live. So why do so few people set goals? I think that there are five basic reasons why people don’t set goals — and thereby deprive themselves of the successful life they could be leading:
Reason #1: They’re not serious
Whenever I speak with a man or woman who has achieved something remarkable, I learn that the achievement occurred after that person decided to “get serious Reason #2: They don’t get the importance of goals
Many people don’t understand the importance of goal-setting. We find that young men and women who begin setting goals very early in life invariably come from families in which the importance of goals Reason #3: They don’t know how
The third reason people don’t set goals is that they don’t know how to do it. One of the greatest tragedies of our educational system is that you can receive years of education in our schools and never once receive a single hour of instruction on how to set goals. Reason #4: Fear of Rejection
The fear of rejection is caused by destructive criticism in early childhood and is manifested, in adulthood, in the fear of criticism by others. Many people hold back from setting worthwhile goals because they have found that every time they do set a goal, somebody steps up and tells them that they can’t achieve it, or that they will lose their money or waste their time.

Re: Why most people fail in business?
Sure there are many people that prospers from Internet marketing. I am one of many. But the fact still remains is that lots of people, who gets involved with Internet business opportunities; they don't even come close to success that others have achieved in their online opportunities. As a matter of fact, many of them fail outright. Why? Because the keywords day you want to keep in mind is: "earned money." It's all about creating the two infamous words that we marketers love. And it doesn't matter whether if you're doing your business online or traditional style.

Not to mention some of these companies have steep learning curves, it's not as easy to learn how to sell the product to their prospects with the right education on the product that their marketing.
But wait! This type of ignorance can be fixed. Yes, there is a cure if you're willing to put in the time and dedication to make it work, like a well oiled machine. The power of the Internet allows you to work where and when you want to. That's right! Internet businesses are still businesses at the end of the day you're only going to get out of yours what you put into it. One thing to keep in mind, don't treat your business as a hobby, unless you're satisfied with making hobby money.
And take the time to do your research, and do your due diligence. Don't just go off on a whim, with the spur of the moment state of mind. Know your strengths and weaknesses know deep down in your heart that you love what you're doing and be passionate about it.
.The money will come in if you treat this business like a business.
.The money will always be there.
.And remember, once again, do your research.
.Learn about the company or companies that you want to affiliate yourself with, that has good reputations.
Choose a company that is known for strong character, that's growing with men and women of good integrity with a solid foundation. Your name is everything in the world of not just Internet marketing. But in business in general.
