Post Policed Systems and "Confirmed" Systems
A full alarm condition is generated, either immediately or after a specified delay, with the siren creating 110 decibels of sound and the strobe light flashing.

An alarm signal is sent via the signalling device to the Alarm Receiving Centre.

Upon receipt of the alarm signal the ARC operator will follow an agreed response plan and contact Key-holders accordingly.

When a second device is activated within 20 minutes of the first, the incident becomes "Confirmed" and a second signal is transmitted to the Alarm Receiving Centre via a separate signal pathway.

Upon receipt of the second alarm signal the ARC operator will upgrade the status of the alarm to "Confirmed" and proceed to adjust the response plan accordingly. The police can be contacted at this point.

The police are persons empowered to enforce the law, protect property and reduce civil disorder Their powers include the legitimized use of force. The term is most commonly associated with police services of a state that are authorized to exercise the police power of that state within a defined legal or territorial area of responsibility. Police forces are often defined as organizations separate from any military forces, or other organizations involved in the defense of the state against foreign agressors; however, gendarmerie and military police are military units charged with policing. The Confirmed Automation System is a simple automation system that provides the capability of high end industrial systems, but without the need for expensive experts to install, maintain and operate the system. Setup can be handled by anyone that understands the equipment to be automated. The simplicity of configuration significantly reduces the cost of application development, compared to standard control systems.
