A careful choice of your colors and style can have a long term effect on the success of your site. Think of your website as an outfit. Would you dress your product up in something from “The House of Tacky”? It seems like a silly question, but people do it everyday. Make careful choices that dress your site for success. Thanks

Re: TIPS FOR PERFECT WEB DESIGING ?
Hi
If you are planning to design a website then there are a number of things that have to be considered. Who does not want to captivate the online visitors and make them feel interested to browse the site? But certain things have to be followed in order to make the web design come out perfectly alright. It has been seen that the average time for which an online visitor stays on a site is hardly for a minute. Thus you have to take care of the every minute detail to draw visitors to your site. It not only needs to be great looking but it also needs to be user friendly. The home page is very important for a website. Generally it is the very first page that an online visitor explores. If he feels the site will cater the necessary information/ services that he is looking, he will surely be interested to go through the whole site. A web designer should be fully aware of the purpose of launching the site. As you design the home page of your site, be careful about designing the layout. Maintaining balance in web designing is essentially necessary. The style and color of the websites need to be chosen carefully before designing it.
Thanks

Hi
Most of the points you have said are all correct! Only that if you are a student, I think it's better not to let the clients know that you are still a student. There is a tendency that they might lower down their pay just because you are that young and still a stude. Well, that's just my own opinion.
Thanks

Hi The first and the foremost point that you need to keep in mind before staring up the plan for the website is going through a research work of your competitors. Never try and underestimate them and if they are very strong, don’t even attempt to copy them. The basic fundamental of any unique website is its own idea and originality.
The theme and the layout of the website should be done in such a way that it is a blend of both professionalism and sophistication, yet with a difference. The colours, that background, choice of boxes and images should not be gaudy.
The navigation menus are the key feature that you tend to take in special consideration. The navigation should be subtle, and presented right in front of the eyes of the visitor. Every page should be linked to the Home Page so as to avoid unnecessary toils at the visitor’s end. Make your visitor comfortable with the structure of your site.
In the time of Web 2.0, you need to lay emphasis on the kind of interactivity you provide on your site.
The content should be created and laid down in such a manner that the visitor is provoked to trust you and your brand. The main idea is the level of transparency you maintain between you and your visitor. And, I am sure that it would surely increase the chance of building a rapport with him/her leading to long term relationships.
Thanks
