Franking Inks
For many companies sending out letters, parcels and other postal items will be a task that needs to be carried out on a daily basis. Organising this post and putting individual stamps onto each letter and package can be an onerous and time consuming task and can take up many resources and staffing hours.
One way of circumventing this is for a company to invest in a franking machine. A franking machine is a piece of office equipment that weighs and prints postage requirements and post marks onto packages and parcels. These machines are either generally credited with a certain amount of money, which is used to stamp the class of postage on letters to the value credited on the machine or they can internally calculate the monetary amounts used for the postage and the company then later pays these charges to the post office or other carrier.
Generally for larger quantities of post, a franking machine can reduce postage costs by a considerable degree and can help reduce pressure on many tight budgets.
It is important though that any franking machine is kept working fully operational by ensuring that the ink cartridges used are always full. These ink cartridges must be fully and completely compatible with the franking machine used otherwise the quality of the stamps printed will be compromised. However, once installed, a compatible franking machine ink cartridge can be used for a considerable amount of time and in many cases can print several hundreds or thousands of postage stamps, making it a very convenient and hard working piece of office equipment as well as being extremely good value for money.
Here at UK Toner Cartridges.com we can provide a range of franking ink cartridges which can help any postal office or room to complete its franking tasks in a high quality and timely manner.

Re: Franking Inks
Franking machines these days allow the downloading of software updates too, are simple to use and rely on printing techniques similar to any normal printer. They use Pitney Bowes ink cartridges and Pitney Bowes franking cartridges which are easily removed and replaced when empty and use a wide variety of Pitney Bowes franking labels designed to fit almost any envelope and any machine. Self adhesive Pitney Bowes franking labels come in packs of 200 to 2000. Pitney Bowes franking labels also come in self adhesive roles and Pitney Bowes franking labels can be perforated for easy separation. Pitney Bowes franking labels come in gummed rolls and Pitney Bowes franking labels can also come in a variety of colours such as white, red, blue and yellow.
Franking machines rely on Pitney Bowes franking cartridges and Pitney Bowes ink cartridges to print which uses inkjet technology. Inside Pitney Bowes ink cartridges is a heating element and in response to a tiny current, the ink inside the Pitney Bowes franking cartridges is warmed up and is vaporised into a tiny air bubble inside a nozzle. As a result the total volume of the ink contained in the Pitney Bowes ink cartridges exceeds that of the nozzle and an ink droplet is forced out of the Pitney Bowes franking cartridge and onto the paper. Good printing depends on a smooth flow of ink and when it begins to run dry, the Pitney Bowes franking cartridges should be refilled or replaced with new Pitney Bowes ink cartridges.
