Post Tips for perfect web desiging ?
Hello

You may have a personal portfolio website for a number of reasons. If you’re a freelancer, then you’d need one to showcase your work and allow people to contact you. If you’re a student (or unemployed), then you’d need one to show prospective employers how good you are and what you can do, so that they might hire you. If you’re part of a studio, then you might use one to blog about your design life, show people what you’re doing and build your online presence.

A personal portfolio website is all about promoting you. You are a brand, and your name is a brand name. No one is going to know about your brand unless you get it out there; and if you’re a Web designer, developer, writer, gamer or any other type of creative, then it’s essential that you have a good portfolio website.

Thanks

Hi

If you are good in graphic and design, and you wish companies or individuals to hire your services, then you must show them what you can do. You can create a website, make sure to put all what you can do in there in order for potential clients to see your skills and abilities.

Thanks

Hi
Have you ever imagined how some of the websites are able to survive in the crowd of the millions of websites present on the web? These websites are the sole representative of you and your businesses in front of the visitors. Amongst the crowd, it becomes a real tough nut to crack.

A unique website design with a blend of professionalism and sophistication is what is needed and able to lure the potential quality visitors on your site.

There is no doubt to the fact that there is no rocket science in creating a good website design. The only thing to keep in mind is that you need to follow a strategical vision followed by appropriate action. Here, we have tried and introduced some of the key points that would help you with the same—

The first and the foremost point that you need to keep in mind before staring up the plan for the website is going through a research work of your competitors. Never try and underestimate them and if they are very strong, don’t even attempt to copy them. The basic fundamental of any unique website is its own idea and originality.

The theme and the layout of the website should be done in such a way that it is a blend of both professionalism and sophistication, yet with a difference. The colours, that background, choice of boxes and images should not be gaudy.

The navigation menus are the key feature that you tend to take in special consideration. The navigation should be subtle, and presented right in front of the eyes of the visitor. Every page should be linked to the Home Page so as to avoid unnecessary toils at the visitor’s end. Make your visitor comfortable with the structure of your site.

In the time of Web 2.0, you need to lay emphasis on the kind of interactivity you provide on your site.

The content should be created and laid down in such a manner that the visitor is provoked to trust you and your brand. The main idea is the level of transparency you maintain between you and your visitor. And, I am sure that it would surely increase the chance of building a rapport with him/her leading to long term relationships.

Thanks

Hi

1. Get the hang of compression — whether it’s using GZIP for content, caching for external files or squeezing extra bytes from images and media. It will increase the speed of your website.

2. Consider the best image format for what you are trying to achieve, while GIF makes for good basic animations, JPEG or its less lossy friend PNG will be better for high-resolution photos. Read The Comprehensive Guide to Saving Images for the Web for more information.

3. Be careful as to what you use images to portray. Not everyone can see images (like search engines) and this may present readability problems if you use them in place of text.

4. When adding video, audio or graphics into your site, make sure alternative content is available for those who cannot take advantage of these mediums due to accessibility issues.

5. Opacity in images is a tricky issue with Internet Explorer. There are fixes for issues in IE6, but you should remember that only full alpha transparency has issues, not single colors.

6. Your logo is one of the most important aspects of your website as it’s what people will recognise you for. Therefore, it pays to have a good, memorable one created for your brand.

7. While the favicon is one of the smallest graphics you’re likely to encounter on a website, it provides a fantastically unique way of gaining recognition in bookmarks and social networks.

Thanks
