What Is The Future Of IT Outsourcing?

With the terms "recession" and "global credit crunch" people are cutting back on staff, upgrading and equipment and this is good news for full outsourcing providers. Business owners still need to make profits and they are looking at the best possible streamlined options to help them do this. Full outsourcing offers all your in-house IT department does at a fraction of the cost. You can streamline your budget, allocating previous IT costs elsewhere.

The need for full outsourcing is increasing not only because of the "credit crunch" and cost cutting but many companies today no longer have the office space needed to house a large IT department complete with specialised server rooms, there is also an increase of businesses that operate in cyberspace with no physical address. On the increase are those that operate their dealings from their home office. No matter how big or small a company is, whether they have the most prestige address in town, work out of simple home office or don't even have an, each one of these business situations can take advantage of the benefits of full outsourcing.

One thing is certain though, full outsourcing is here to stay. The art of delegating tasks to others who are specialists leaves more time to focus on those parts of business that are important, how can you beat that?

Hi

1. IBM, which has about 39,000 employees in India, plans to take its India headcount to 55,000 by the end of 2007.
2. Dell India is expected to hire about 10,000 additional professionals over the next two years, taking its total India strength to 20,000 by 2009.
3. Accenture announced in 2005 that it would hire 30,000 professionals in India, China and the Philippines, with the majority in India, by 2008.
4. JP Morgan Chase intends to double its Indian workforce in the next year, which is currently just under 4,000.
5. In 2006, EDS acquired a controlling stake in MphasiS, an Indian IT-services company, adding 9,500 to its rolls in India.
6. Capgemini acquired Kanbay, an Indian IT company, and added another 6,000 to its India staff. The two companies together plan to create 23,000 jobs in the next four years.

Thanks
