Post How To Keep Your Baby Warm
No-one likes to be cold, and in regards to babies, rather than being merely an inconvenience the cold can represent a real danger. However, without wanting to be scare mongers, keeping your baby warm in winter is fairly easy!

Nights are usually colder than the day, and therefore it is during the night that babies and infants will be most vulnerable to the cold. With this in mind, it is important that your baby has enough warm bedding, and that ideally your baby is kitted out in baby wear such as sleepsuits!

Baby wear, including sleepsuits, optimise your baby’s comfort are also designed to keep your baby warm. Therefore a sleepsuit in conjunction with warm bedding practically guarantees that your baby will remain warm through the night.

Whilst babies would probably love to stay in their sleepsuits throughout the day, unfortunately this isn’t practical, and staying warm in the day time will require some other items of baby wear. for example, in the winter months winter baby shoes are a fantastic way to ensure that your little one stays nice and toast!

Along with baby shoes, you could also deck out your baby in woolly hats or a good pair of woolen mittens, which will give your baby a comforting experience as well as giving them extra protection from the cold.

Of course keeping your baby warm is a very serious matter, however this doesn’t mean that your baby shoes, hats and other items can’t be stylish – and at Universal Textiles you can find great baby clothes that aren’t only practical by stylish, too.

Hi

Mention baby clothes and people mostly think of all the cute outfits like sailor suits or frilly dresses for the girls, even the cute "Tigger" All-In-One romper suits. We don't think of the more practical thick winter coats or the jackets that are wind resistant. Babies are in more need of a warm coat or jacket than adults are when it comes to the colder climates, whether it is the Winter or Summer, when you can still get cold days.

Designers of the best in baby clothes, are all too aware that all infants and toddlers need to have warm winter gear. They come up with many lines of cute coats, jackets and winter clothes specially designed with your little ones in mind. You will find them available at all baby stores, mail order catalogues and now the online shopping stores.

Thanks

When winter storms in, it's your job to make sure your baby stays warm and dry. But if you're like most new moms, dealing with a squirmy baby in a bulky jacket, blankets that fall off, and a diaper bag may sound like a huge hassle. Here are tips and products that make it easy to keep your baby healthy and comfortable, whether you're going grocery shopping or tucking your child in for the night.During the day keep baby dressed in layers, a undershirt, a t-shirt and a sweatshirt, socks, and slippers if you have them. Also sweatpants, and if its really cold some long johns. Also if your not going anywhere baby can where footie pajamas they are warm and tend to keep all parts of baby warm during the day. You can always take layers off if baby seems to be a little warm.

At night it is a good idea to dress baby in layers as well especially if baby kicks the covers off. It is okay to warm babies room with a space heater but don't leave on all night or while unsupervised, space heaters can cause fires if left on for a long time. If baby kicks blankets off, use flannel sheets and tuck them in to the sides of the bed so baby can't kick them off. Also a sleeping bag is a good idea for this problem as well.

Remember not to over dress your baby, this can cause sweating making baby even colder.
