Tips on shopping for furniture online??
Hello Friends
1.Keep it simple:Don't get overwhelmed with the almost infinite number of
available searches online. Narrow your search down to the fundamental styles,
sizes and price range that you are limited by. If you don't, your fun search
online could turn into a furniture nightmare. 2.Stay Mainstream:It is always fun to step outside of the box with funky
shapes, colors and sizes. BUT, if you do, make sure that you measure you space
wisely and make sure you choose a furniture store that is willing to
accommodate you in case things don't fit or look just right. 3.Measure your entryways and space:When you are going to buy furniture online
it is a good idea to carefully measure your space. If you live in a New York
high rise building, you should probably reconsider the overstuffed, oversized,
u shaped, sectional, it is not likely to fit in your 1950's narrow stairwell
and skinny elevator. Back in the 50's things were hoisted into those buildings
by pulley, today, that doesn't happen so much... You would probably be better
off with a simple sofa. 4.Look in various avenues for the best deal:Look on google, yahoo, msn for
your online furniture store. They each provide independent results which gives
you a lot options to choose from. Don't stick to one, go to them all and find
the best sofa deal online.
Have a nice day

Re: Tips on shopping for furniture online??
Buying furniture online is a convenient way of shopping for many. Shopping for furniture on the web has many advantages but not all furniture stores on the web were created equal. Buying furniture is a significant investment and as such you need to make sure you are making a safe transaction. Here are some tips to help you enjoy a safe online shopping experience.
# Make sure your computer is protected. If you plan on doing any shopping online, don’t be lax about installing security updates and make sure you have updated spam filters, anti-virus software, and a secure firewall.
# Just as you would research a bricks and mortar store, check out the seller. Conduct web searches and check with the Better Business Bureau for a report about the retailer’s record. On the seller’s website look for a seal from the Better Business Bureau or another reputable organization. Click on that seal to confirm that it is valid.
# Look for a physical contact address and phone number. If the website doesn’t list any it's best to stay away from them, as you would have no way of reaching them should something go wrong.
# Make sure your online purchase is secure by looking in the address box for the “s” in https:// and the “lock’ symbol before paying. If you have any doubts about a site, right click on the page, and select “Properties” on the pop-up menu to let you see the real website address. The dialog box will also tell you if the site is not encrypted.

As you would when buying furniture anywhere, check to see how much the product or service costs and if there are any shipping and handling charges. If asked for personal information in an e- mail, be very suspicious. Legitimate businesses do not send e-mails claiming problems with an order or an account to get the buyer to reveal personal information. Call the contact number on the website to ask if there was a problem with your transaction.
