Six Simple Ways To Increase Your Business

1. Offer “Freebies” on your site for your visitors. Free reports, ebooks, services, support, ezine, etc. can be great ways to increase your customer’s trust in you, thus bringing you more sales. Another way to offer something free it to offer a free bonus with every order.
2. Add a community message board to your website. Encourage your visitors to be a part of this community. This will also help increase trust and sales. Offer help, advice, support etc. via your community.
3. Use “bundling” to enable your customers to save money by ordering more! This marketing tactic has done wonders for many businesses and it can for you as well. I offer ebook bundles or kits and they have increased my sales immensely. For example: I sell ebooks for one dollar each but by bundling 35 together for just $15.00, I not only help my customers, I help my business increase sales as well. Make up a separate sales page for your “bundles” and offer a variety of bundle specials as well. Remember, helping your customers, helps you as well.
4. Participate in autoresponder ad swaps. If you send out autoresponder messages fine other online businesses who do the same and contact them with an offer of an ad swap. You will place their ad on your messages, if they do the same for you. This can be a great way to get more exposure for your business. Find businesses that complement yours. For example: if you sell jewelry find business owners who sell clothing as this would help your business not compete with it.
5. Post a tip board on your site. Change the tips daily or weekly to keep people coming back for more. Make sure the tips are helpful and contain useful information and/or resources.
6. Follow-up with customers and potential customers to make sure their experience was satisfying or to offer your help and assistance when needed. When a person emails me with questions about selling ebooks, I answer promptly and then in a few days I send a follow-up. I ask them if they have received my reply and if there is anything else I can do for them. This simple task takes about two minutes, yet brings in a lot of sales. It shows the customer you care about providing a good experience for them and are willing to help them if they need it.

. Get rich in a niche If you already have contacts and inroads in a particular industry or with a particular group of people, focus your efforts in that niche. By specializing in a specific industry you can make the most of your marketing and maximize your effort.
2. Make every action serve more than one purpose. If you are giving a speech or seminar, use your outline to develop an article that you can use as a special report or newspaper story. If you are writing a sales letter, extract the key points to use in a speech to your local networking group. Design your advertising in a way that will enable you to use the same basic ad in different formats and publications. This will allow you to make the most of everything you do.
3. Mine the gold already in your business We tend to spend a lot of time chasing after new business while there are untapped opportunities within our existing customers. Learn to mine the gold you already have in your business. What other products or services could you offer your existing customers? How could you increase the frequency with which people buy from you or the amount of their purchases? You already have gold within your business just waiting to be mined.
4. Avoid mass media. Unless you have very deep pockets, you cannot afford to use mass media to advertise. Daily newspapers, radio, TV and such can be very expensive ways to reach customers. Depending upon who your customer is, you can usually find less expensive ways to reach them. Targeted publications such as business journals, parenting publications, shoppers and industry specific magazines are generally less expensive and deliver a more targeted audience. Sales letters to a highly focused mailing list of your target market and telemarketing are also effective solutions. The key is to define your customers and zero in on them with a focused message.
5. Use reports and specialized information. Writing reports and articles is one of the best advertising methods and costs next to nothing. If you have knowledge that others find useful, you can write a special report and offer it to prospective customers. You can use the same information as the basis of a speech to groups who represent your customer base. You can send a letter to your prospective customer, offering a free report that will be of interest to them and solve a problem they have. The same approach can be used with an ad that gives an 800 number and says something like: "Ten ways to ___. Call 1-800-XXX-XXXX for free report."
6. Use newsletters. Another inexpensive way to build your business is by using newsletters. A newsletter has a 400% better chance of being read than an ad. This is because newsletters address the needs of your customer. A good newsletter will be about my needs and deliver information that will help me, the reader. Newsletters can be inexpensively produced on your computer and need not be fancy. The key is that they are sent at regular intervals (quarterly at the very least) and help your customer solve a problem of theirs. You can even offer advertising to other, non competing, businesses as a way of sharing the costs.

One of the ways is to make your money work. Profits should not be used on that yatch you always wanted nor should it be spent on that big screen TV. Money should be pumped back into the business and used to develop its structure and diversity its business strategies. One of the ways is to turn profits into start up capitals for other ventures the company can undertake, or as a form of investment into the various markets - futures, equity, stocks and bond and even the Forex market. That way, you can open up many revenue streams and thus have a company that is running high in profits. Also another thing, when you have several revenue streams, you are able to cover the losses or one as in some corporations their main money maker is just a single revenue stream – the rest are there as a backup to the main operations.

in the LA area, or if it can be done remotely or with staff actors, we do professionally edited video for as little as $300, and everyone can do video with their phone. Google mixes video results in worth the regular results, and, if your video is optimized properly (META data) it will appear on key word searches with a thumbnail (huge!) you can embed videos that are on YouTube in the pages or posts and on the front page of your website, even use the HD version we provide to inexpensive cable TV ads. We have done several lately where the website video serves the purpose also for television advertising. Any sustainable solution will include some video marketing.
