Hi

5 Tips on Developing a Marketing Plan

1. Determine specific goals and the time frame in which you want to achieve them. Communicate the goals to your employees.
2. Decide what tools can best help you meet your goals and how they will be used. These can include the Internet, newsletters, direct mail, special events, trade shows, advertising, and more.
3. Come up with a budget that reflects your goals.
4. Delegate responsibility for implementing each segment of the plan.
5. Monitor the results and make adjustments as necessary.

Thanks

Post Re: Tips on Developing a Marketing Plan
Although many people often create a website first and marketing plan afterwards, it is important that you first develop a marketing plan then create your website. This ensures that you will be prepared for any unforeseen events that can occur during the business process. The benefit of creating and developing a website marketing plan, is that down the road as you go about creating your site you know exactly how you want your site to be visualized by its target audience. Some tips for developing a website marketing plan are as follows:

* Know your end objective. When developing a website marketing plan know the end objective. Keep in mind what you ultimately want your site to look like and how it is to help you in attracting and retaining customers and prospective clients.
* Have achievable goals. This point is key as many people often create plans that have unrealistic goals. By keeping it real and by having achievable aims and objectives, developing a marketing plan can be very easy.
* Stick to only a few marketing strategies. Stick to just a few marketing strategies that you know you can accomplish. This will help keep your mind clear and focused.
* Make sure to set a deadline. Every good marketing plan should have a deadline.
* Constantly evaluate your strategies and their consequences. This will help put things in perspective and will help you decipher which marketing strategies work best and which strategies are not working out.
