Ideal for controlling access on one or many independent doors in a building. Access is gained by using a numeric code, PIN with a keypad, or by presenting a proximity or magstripe token, depending on the reader type fitted.

These systems are programmed at each door. If tokens need to be barred or codes changed, this action must be completed at every door on the system.

Standalone systems are great for smaller sites with a relatively small number of users, token management is simple, and the system can be extended easily as your requirements change.

A standalone solution where all of the control electronics are in the keypad or reader. Compact systems are an easy to administer and cost-effective means of controlling access to a building. However, as the control electronics are all housed in the reader or keypad this type of system is not recommended for exterior or high security interior doors. Compact systems are available in a choice of TOUCHLOCK keypads, PROXIMITY readers or CARDLOCK (magstripe) readers.

The Avea indoor proximity reader is self contained and no PC is required. To program it, you use the add and delete cards it comes with. Unlike some other inexpensive systems, you don't have to delete all cards when you only want to delete one. This feature is a big big time saver.
