Advantages of train travel in Europe
Why choose Europe rail travel?
The train is, by far, the easiest and most relaxing way to explore Europe. Why choose Europe rail travel over planes, cars or buses? Here are just a few reasons:
* Easy access. Nearly every city has one or more stations which are served by trains multiple times each day. * Efficient. With Europe rail travel, checking-in means simply getting on the train. No need to remove your shoes and belt or walk through a metal detector. You can also bring your own food and drinks on board, if you choose. * Freedom. Sit back, admire the view, talk to fellow passengers, go for a stroll or read a good book. * Eco-friendly. When you choose Europe train travel, you’re choosing a mode of transportation that pollutes less than most others. * Location. One of the best aspects of Europe rail travel is the great location of the stations. Major stations are usually right in the center of the city, with shops, restaurants, hotels and public transportation just steps away. You don’t have to pay for taxis or wait for a bus to bring you to your hotel. * No hassle at the borders. Rail passengers no longer have their identity checked by border guards when crossing borders of the Schengen countries (however, security controls by carriers are still permissible.)
Choose Europe rail travel and discover Europe using the most modern, safe, and budget-friendly means of transport possible.

Re: Advantages of train travel in Europe
Hi
# When travelling for distances less than 400 miles, train travel via the European high-speed train lines, can be faster than plane travel # Train travel is the safest means of transport allowing discovery of hidden corners of the European continent # Compared to train travel in North America, European trains are faster, more punctual and serve more destinations with a rail network of over 100,000 miles across Europe # Environmentally, train-travel wins again. European trains use seventeen times less fuel than airplanes and rail travel is five times more efficient than travelling by car when transporting the same number of people # Transport is the fastest growing area of human activity that causes greenhouse gas emissions. Train travel produces the least amount of CO2 emissions for powered journeys, so you can contribute to reducing greenhouse gases
Thanks

Re: Advantages of train travel in Europe
Europe has many beautiful sites and Europe's train tour really worthwhile. Travel by train is less costly and you can see lots of picturesque sites. We had a Europe’s train tour last year 2009; many train stations had great location and close to all attractive sites.
Best Regards,
