Post people watching vs. sight seeing
Is it pathetic to admit that sometimes travelling to see or meet people is our agenda and not to see sights.

The novelty of watching so called iconic tourist spots has worn off (Sometimes it feels like it did). But the novelty of watching beautiful and cool/exotic foreigners hasn't completely vanished. This does not mean that I would stare at strangers or take photos with strangers...

I like watching people, and KHAO SAN road was my favorite. I live in a tourist town, where white is just white. But Khaosan is a runaway of people of all colors, looking gorgeous. Tokyo and Yokohama is also a great place to watch people, and in this its the locals steal the show.

I'm revisiting an ultra chic city, hoping this time I will finally get what the hype is about. But my primary purpose is to meet two of the coolest Chinese I have ever met. I am travelling again next week, and I have yet to feel enthusiastic. I want to feel excited, but i don't.
