Post Ski Hosting
* Ski hosting to the Les Gets/Morzine area
* Ski hosting to the Portes du Soleil area
* Ski France and Switzerland all in one day!
* Included free in your holiday

We know this area very well, and would love to pass on all our favourite runs and hidden secrets to you. We can show you the first runs to soften up in the morning, the quickest way to the next resort or the quiet little corners hidden to most. We ski host two days per week during your holiday.

The first day is an introduction to the Les Gets/Morzine ski area.

The second is the Portes du Soleil explorer trip, where we Ski France and Switzerland all in one day!

Please note you need to be comfortable on red runs for the Les Gets Ski Hosting and the Portes du Soleil Ski Hosting.

Please note we are not ski instructors. This is a service to show you the different areas picking the runs we think are going to be most enjoyable. We cannot teach any technique or supervise any under 18's (they are welcome to come along, but must be under the supervision of a responsible adult). Ski hosting may not be available due to weather conditions, at our discretion.

Ski Hosting:
There is nothing like local knowledge of any resort to really get the best out of the snow conditions and especially on a powder day! Our Mountain Staff are expert at their sport and they are there to orientate you around some of the best kept local secrets, ensure that you waste no time in finding the best terrain and orientate you around the lift system in double quick time.

Their services are totally complimentary and free of charge to all our guests, however as a free service the availability it is not guaranteed. They are not Guides, but more ski or Snowboard "buddies" who will accompany you around resort. If you require a Guide then we would recommend you contract a professional from in resort.

When you come and stay on a winter holiday with The Great Escape, we know that there are certain ingredients that make a fantastic holiday. A beautiful Chalet with a great atmosphere, wonderful food with fine wine, and experienced hospitable staff, with that personal touch.

However, we feel that one of the most important factors for us to remember is that you've come to ski. Which is why we offer you a two day ski/snowboard hosting service, normally arranged on alternate days of the week, to help you make the most of your holiday. We know the area well, where the best snow lies, how to avoid any lift queues and where some of the best mountain restaurants are hidden. As a general rule ski hosting is only available to our catered guests of an intermediate standard and above.
Ski and snowboard hosting

To comply with the local French regulations, ski-hosting does not form part of your holiday contract and/ or holiday cost, but is offered as a completely free service. We may withdraw the service at any time.

We aim to provide a ski host service for 1 to 2 days per resort each week. You will need to request this service from Chalet staff on arrival in resort and then when booked, you will need to get yourself to the designated meeting point to meet the host. This service is not guaranteed and we may not be able to always supply a host. It is always subject to local regulations, snow and weather conditions.

Our Ski Hosting is not a Guiding service, it is a ski accompaniment service and if you would like a Guide then we ask that you contact a professional and qualified Guide on arrival in resort. We will not accompany over any Off Piste routes. We are unable to ski with beginners of less than 4 weeks experience or those that are unable to ski at a pace that suits the group.

Hosting is a requested service from resort and as a free service it is not guaranteed. If guests participate then they must realize the dangers and do so at their own risk. Hosting is not for beginners.
