Indonesia
Indonesia is a very vast and extrenely diverse country in Asia. When we talk of Indonesia, the most popular tourist destination which comes to mind is Bali. Bali has always attracted lots of visitors from around the world. Although in the recent years, places like Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, have been becoming more and more popular.
When i talk of Indonesia, variety is what comes to mind again and again, no two places in this beautiful country look similar. Much like India, the country's motto is "Unity in Diversity".

Re: Indonesia
Tourism in Indonesia is an important component of the Indonesian economy as well as a significant source of its foreign exchange revenues. In 2008, the number of international tourists has reached over 6 million people who spent more than 7 billion US dollars[1].
Both nature and culture are major components of Indonesian tourism. The natural heritage can boast a unique combination of a vast archipelago of more than 17,000 islands[2], the second longest shoreline in the world[3], and a tropical climate. The beaches in Bali, diving sites in Bunaken, and various national parks in Sumatra are just a few examples of popular scenic destinations. These natural attractions are complemented by a rich cultural heritage that reflects Indonesia's dynamic history and ethnic diversity. One fact that exemplifies this richness is that over 700 languages are used across the archipelago[4]. The ancient Prambanan and Borobudur temples, Toraja, Yogyakarta, Minangkabau, and of course Bali, with its many Hindu festivities, are some of the popular destinations for cultural tourism.

Re: Indonesia
Indonesia is an archipelago in Southeast Asia consisting of 17,000 islands (6,000 inhabited) and straddling the equator. The largest islands are Sumatra, Java (the most populous), Bali, Kalimantan (Indonesia's part of Borneo), Sulawesi (Celebes), the Nusa Tenggara islands, the Moluccas Islands, and Irian Jaya (also called West Papua), the western part of New Guinea. Its neighbor to the north is Malaysia and to the east is Papua New Guinea.
Indonesia, part of the “ring of fire,” has the largest number of active volcanoes in the world. Earthquakes are frequent. Wallace's line, a zoological demarcation between Asian and Australian flora and fauna, divides Indonesia.

Re: Indonesia
There are many good places in Indonesia. One good place you should go to is the hill station. Is really high and sometimes you could ride a camel down the hill. I did it once. Another good place to visit is the beaches.
The beaches are freaking amazing. While you are in the beach you could try new foods and also go snorkeling. You should also visit Lake Issyk Kul. You would find the best fishes there or just have fun. The Sumba Island in eastern Indonesia is like a time machine where ancient traditions remain vibrant, especially in the west. The stone carvings and ikat weaving are the finest in the archipelago, although the roads have a lot to answer for. Surfers swear by its waves. If you are a surfer you would have a great time trust me. The best place to go eat in Indonesia is Fischessen in Nusa Dua. They sell all types of food. Yum Yum!!
Another good place to visit in Indonesia is Bali. Bali is super beatiful. I went there once and I was like amazed. Lombok, the next island to Bali is even better for tourist. Is really fun if you like going wild surfing. Lake Takengon, in Aceh, is one of the most beautiful place I have been. The air is fresh and clean, and the mountain side view is fantastic. I saw for the first time, coffee seeds, red in colour, and pineapples, tangerines, and many fruits. This is the place of recreation for the Pertamina officers, they get a 20% discount from the room rates and the service. A little extra extra is that I'm going to tell you about the best hotel in Indonesia. The St. Regis Resort Bali is the best hotel and luxury hotel I have ever been too. It cost a lot but it is fuking worth it.
