Ski Holidays Are Not Just For Groups
More and more of us are finding ourselves single, at different points during our lives, and it’s now more common for people in relationships to take holidays away from their partners occasionally.
That means that holiday companies are having to change the way they operate, so that solo travellers are better catered for. Frankly, in the past, there’s no denying that lone holidaymakers often got a raw deal, with stiff supplements on single rooms – and ski holidays were no exception.
Happily, things are changing, and ski holidays are now far more accessible to single travellers than they were. And travelling on your own no longer means paying huge supplements or feeling like an outcast.
Chalet holidays in particular are a great way of meeting new people and doing something you enjoy. The friendly, relaxed nature of chalet holidays means you can expect a sociable atmosphere, especially in the evenings, and there’s always someone to chat to.
So there’s no reason why you should miss out on ski holidays just because you are single, or prefer to travel alone.
Chalet Holidays from Chalet Experience
At the Chalet Experience, we specialise in catered ski holidays in France, and solo skiers and snow-boarders are actively welcomed on all our chalet holidays, whatever their level. You’ll feel right at home from the minute you arrive, and our twice-weekly ‘ski hosting’ sessions offer a great introduction to the local area and a chance to meet holidaymakers staying in neighbouring chalets.
