The great thing is, though, that small businesses with far less in the way of marketing and advertising cash than blue chips can level the playing field with online marketing. If small companies have the desire to create quality content, their online impact can be equal to that of larger businesses and competition.
Small companies are investing 40% of their total marketing budgets on website content, blogs, social media, video, e-newsletters and seminars, according to a new survey. It’s not something that surprises us - and it shouldn’t really surprise you, so rife is the talk of blogging, social media and so forth - but it’s nice to see in writing, as it were.
Day-by-Day, people in the commercial world are recognizing that ordinary consumers value online content. In fact, they expect it. And it had better be good.
