Post Solicitor Type
Our organization is currently implementing the use of the solicitor feature. However, we have questions regarding the Solicitor Type field.

We're a small shop and rely heavily on the work of our volunteer solicitors. We have people soliciting cash gifts, in-kind gifts, mainly items for an auction, sponsorships, planned giving, soliciting teams, etc. These people are usually a part of some type of committee. For example, a main donation committee, a committee soliciting fellow employees for donations, a committee based on a certain industry soliciting their peers, an event organizing committee, board members, etc.

We'd like to keep track of several things. Who is soliciting who, the amount of gifts a solicitor secured. When pulling reports, do you mainly filter through constituent codes or solicitor type? I'm thinking from the viewpoint that the solicitor type would make it easier for us to pull information.

What exactly is the information that should be inputted in the Solicitor Type field?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
