Nail Care Tips
Did you know that prolonged wear of artificial nails can cause fungus to breed? It may also be a reason for thinning of your nails once the artificial nails are removed and it could also cause your natural nails to lose their strength that is hard to regain. That is why artificial nails are not recommended for daily use. Save them on special occasions. However if you really need to use them, give your nails a rest after 3 months to allow your nails to regain strength again.
Old nail polish that is left on for a long time can stain your nails and make it turn yellow. If the discoloration continues, consult a doctor and have it checked because it maybe a fungus or health related condition. To achieve healthy nails, it is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle and incorporate calcium in your diet as it is a known vital nutrient for our nails.
When applying nail polish, you can dip your fingers in a bowl of water with ice cubes. The cold temperature of the water helps seal in the chemicals and harden lacquer.
You do not need to go to the salon to have your nails done. There are manicure kits ready that can make cleaning and caring for your nails easy. Applying nails polish is not easy but it is not that hard either. I do my own nails every week without needing the help of a specialist. The key in applying polish to your nails is to do it in thin layers. The brush is made to old a lot so lightly dip the brush into the bottle and apply the polish appropriately. Take it easy and keep your hands calm. Constant practice makes perfect. That is how I started it too. I wasted too much polish to make it right but it is definitely worth it as you have the liberty to change your nail colors as often as you want without hurting your pocket.

Re: Nail Care Tips
Nail care tips 1.Keep your nails short and try to file them on a regular basis. 2.Take care of your nails between salon visits. 3.In order to save your nails from splitting and allergies, always use rubber gloves while working with chemicals, moisture, water, etc, 4.Avoid using nail care products of your friends or your family members and never use something like scissors for both for infected and non infected nails. Thanks

Re: Nail Care Tips
Hi
Some Nail Care Tips
* To harden soft nails, soak them in warm olive oil for about 20 minutes, on alternate days. * To remove stains from your nails, mix one tablespoon of lemon juice in a cup of water and soak your nails in this liquid for a few minutes. Then, wash off with warm water and apply a hand moisturizer. * It is not a good idea to remove the cuticles from your nails, as it will make the nail susceptible to infection. Rather, you should make use of good quality cuticle oil and gently push back the cuticles, with the help of an orangewood stick. * Try to stay away from acetone polish removers as much as you can and stick to the one that make use of acetate. Still, try not to use a polish remover more than once a week. * In case you wear nail polish, make sure to give your nails a break from time to time. In other words leave them without polish for a few days, every now and then. Otherwise, they will develop an ugly, yellow tint. * If you want to give a natural sheen to your nails, just like the colorless base coat, rub petroleum jelly on your nails and then buff them, with the help of a soft cloth.
Thanks

Hi Try to stay away from acetone polish removers as much as you can and stick to the one that make use of acetate. Still, try not to use a polish remover more than once a week. In case you wear nail polish, make sure to give your nails a break from time to time. In other words leave them without polish for a few days, every now and then. Otherwise, they will develop an ugly, yellow tint. If you want to give a natural sheen to your nails, just like the colorless base coat, rub petroleum jelly on your nails and then buff them, with the help of a soft cloth. If you have brittle nails or split or dull nails, then increasing your consumption of Organic Silica, Vitamin B (especially B5) and MSM (Methyl-Sulfonyl-Methane) will surely help. Never ever resort to nail biting, as it is extremely destructive for the nails as well as the cuticles. If you are in the habit of biting your nails, drop it as soon as possible. Whenever you wash your hands, while bathing as well as otherwise, make sure to dry the nails properly and apply a hand cream or lotion, using it on the nails as well. This is because soap makes the nails dry and brittle.
Thanks
