Protein Supplement & Hair Loss
Nutrition is of great importance in beating hair loss, and supplements other hair loss treatments very effectively. However, there are, just like all other things, parts about nutrition that are more important than others when tackling hair loss. Here are the top 3 things about nutrition that you should keep in mind and apply to effectively boost your hair loss treatment and to curb hair loss in the future:
1. Eat lots of protein: Protein is made of amino acids, and there are 5 amino acids in particular that are essential for healthy hair growth - cystine, cysteine, methionine, arginine and lysine. Make sure that atleast 15% of your total calories everyday come from protein. Protein rich foods include lean meats, poultry, fish, eggs, nuts, soy, grains and seeds. If your body doesn't get enough protein, it will eventually move into the resting phase, and then onto shedding within a few months. That's when hair loss really starts to pump up, and hair loss treatments that help with hair -regrowth become essential.
2. If needed, support yourself with some extra nutritional supplements: Although you can get most of the nutrition you need from food itself, it might become important to include a good nutritional supplement as a part of your diet. Generally, the extra supplements are easily available, and a good multivitamin (expensive does NOT necessarily equal good) combine with a protein shake should do the trick. Dieting and high stress both reduce the amount of nutrition and the absorption of the nutrients by your body and thus aggravate hair loss. Avoid the two at all costs. If you exercise, then you will need more than the average amount of nutrients so that your hair isn't left out and to make a hair loss treatment more effective.

Re: Protein Supplement & Hair Loss
Hi Vitamins are a common natural diet supplement for hair. The most important among them is Vitamin B12 (cobalamin), a water-soluble vitamin. This vitamin helps in the proper functioning of the digestive tract, nervous system, skin, hair, eyes, mouth, and liver.
Stress is one of the common causes of hair loss. Vitamin B12 is an anti-stress vitamin, which improves the condition of the immune system and helps the body to cope up with stress. As a stress inhibitor, Vitamin B12 is a potent hair regrowth stimulator. It is available in food sources like fish, dairy products, organ meats (the meat found in liver and kidney), eggs, beef, and pork.
The other important vitamin required for hair growth is vitamin E. Though this beneficial vitamin is required in little amount by the body, the deficiency of the same causes serious health hazards apart form major hair loss.
thanks
