Hi

Zantac and Prevacid are different types of medications. Zantac is an H2 Blocker and it neutralizes the acid in her stomach. Prevacid is a PPI (Proton Pump Inhibitor) and it stops the acid pumps in her stomach from producing acid. Prevacid is definitely the stronger medication and works better for some children.
