Hi guys

which could defray some monthly costs.
With the state cutting back on its drug-benefit programs for seniors, coupons are getting a second look from some lawmakers on Beacon Hill.
"This is the exact time we should be talking about the rebate bill. We've always known seniors sometimes have to make the decision to cut their prescriptions in half in order to make them last longer, That's going to keep them from staying as healthy as they should be, and lead to more health problems down the road," said state Rep. Thomas Golden, D-Lowell.
Gov. Deval Patrick in October was forced to trim hundreds of millions of dollars from the state budget due to a decline in revenue.
The Patrick administration cut $5.6 million from the state's Prescription Advantage program that provides subsidies for prescription drugs to qualifying senior citizens.
The cut to the $34 million program is expected to affect about 41,500 seniors in Massachusetts, of the 62,000 currently enrolled in Prescription Advantage.
The Executive Office of Health and Human Services estimates this will drive up the cost of prescriptions for those seniors by $8.50, to $34 per month.

Thanks
